The kitten/cat purchase price is $_______ plus shipping of $_______ less deposit of $_______.  The balance of $_______ shall be paid in cash,
USPS money order.  If kitten is to be shipped, payment in full is
required prior to any shipping arrangements.  Deposit is non-refundable if buyer changes his/her mind.  Deposit will be returned if for some reason Breeder is un able to place agreed upon cat/kitten with Purchaser.

- Bella Kitten Cattery guarantees that the kitten named above is free of the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) at the time of purchase. The kitten has also been dewormed at least twice against intestinal parasites, has had a health exam with a licensed veterinarian, and is up to date on all vaccinations. A copy of the kitten's health record will be given to the buyer at the time of purchase. In addition, Bella Kitten Cattery cannot warranty this kitten against any adverse reactions to future vaccinations.

-The buyer has a 2 day period to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian. If a licensed veterinarian finds the kitten to have a serious illness or deformity, a written statement by the veterinarian on his or her letterhead identifying the problem must be given to Bella Kitten Cattery within 10 day business days of kitten's purchase. The kitten may then be returned to the cattery at the buyer's expense for one of similar quality (if no kittens are available at that time, buyer will be offered a kitten of similar quality when a new litter is available). Serious illness means a shortened or painful lifespan. Bella Kitten Cattery is not responsible for the cost of shipping a replacement kitten.

- Although we at Bella Kitten take every precaution to keep our cats and kittens flea and ear mite free, please note that if your kitten is shipped, there is the possibility for your kitten to pick up a few fleas on the flight. This would be a VERY rare occurrence and most likely will not happen, but your kitten is possibly in close quarters with animals from other breeders and passengers who may or may not have as high of standards as we do here at Bella Kitten.

- This guarantee does NOT include minor nuisances such as fungus or Upper Respiratory Infections.  A minor Upper Respiratory Infection or fungus can occur as a result of the stress of being relocated into a new home, and Bella Kitten Cattery cannot guarantee that this will not happen.  However, to the best of our knowledge, none of these are present at the time of shipping/delivery.  In addition, all kittens being shipped are vet checked by a licensed veterinarian, and will receive a veterinary certificate of health before being shipped, stating that they are in good health at the time of shipping. 

- Buyer is responsible for all vet related expenses once the kitten is released from Bella Kitten Cattery. This includes initial vet exam, office visits, lab tests, vaccinations, medications, surgery or time off work, either at initial visit or for any future vet visits.  No medical care is authorized or will be paid for by Bella Kitten Cattery.  By signing this contract, the buyer is accepting these terms.

- If the above named kitten dies within 1 (one) year of the date of purchase due to hereditary or congenital defects, Bella Kitten Cattery will replace the cat or kitten with one of similar quality.  There will be no cash refunds. To determine if the cat's death has been caused by a congenital or hereditary defect, Bella Kitten Cattery must receive proof of the defect in the form of a complete necropsy report, completed by a licensed veterinarian. Bella Kitten Cattery is not responsible for costs relating to the necropsy.  If after reviewing the findings it is determined the death was under warranty, a replacement kitten of equal value would be offered as soon as possible.

- Failure to have the kitten examined by a veterinarian within 2 days of the date of kitten's purchase, or any evidence of abuse, neglect, or mishandling will immediately release Bella Kitten Cattery from any responsibility regarding the kitten, and will release Bella Kitten Cattery from any requirement to provide a replacement kitten under these conditions.

- Due to studies done at Cornell University by Dr. Perderson, where it has been concluded that FELV and FIP Vaccinations can potentiate actual FIP, Bella Kitten Cattery does not vaccinate for these and does not guarantee the health of purchased kittens if they are vaccinated for these after going to their new homes. Although we strongly do not recommend these vaccinations, New owners are advised to discuss vaccination options with their own veterinarian, but agree that all health guarantees are null and void if this kitten is given a FELV or FIP vaccine. Bella Kitten Cattery test and use only negative tested cats.

It is agreed that this is an "As Is" sale, subject only to the warranties outlined herein which is the final agreement of all parties. By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read this contract in its entirety and agree to all of its requirements, stipulations and terms thereof, and that you have received a copy of this contract for your records.

We want to stress that your new kitten's health is very important to us. If you or your veterinarian have any questions or concerns please let us know as soon as possible.
