Bella Kitten Cattery

Our Cattery is really just a extension of our entire home. We feel it is very important for the cats and kittens to not only receive lots of love and attention, but to also be well socialized and acclimated to home life so that our Bella Babies transition to a new forever home will be a easy one. Our home is full of life and children so the kittens are quite used to the daily flow of life with a family. We do at all times provide them with safe places to perch or to scamper off too if they need some relaxing down time. Our goal is to love these little babies just like they were our own while they are still with us, so that when they go to live with you, they can fit right in to whatever lifestyle you have. Our cats are free to roam the home just like they were our children, and this arrangement seems to work well for all involved. Our family loves spending time with the cats and kittens, and our cats and kittens enjoy spending time with all of us! Our home is filled with lots of great hiding places, cat toys, tall climbing posts to climb, places to scratch, fresh outdoor air, highly nutritious cat food and fresh, running water. We live out in the country, so our cats also get to enjoy lots of quality entertainment from watching the local birds, bugs, horse, and squirrels.

A FAVORITE PASTTIME OF OUR BELLA KITTIES, IS SQUIRREL AND BIRD WATCHING. OFTEN ALL THE GIRLS WILL BE PERCHED AT THIS DOOR AT THE SAME TIME, BUT I HAVE YET TO CAPTURE THAT ON CAMERA!

THESE ARE SOME PICTURES FROM THE BELLA KITTEN NURSERY. THIS IS A FUN AREA THAT IS SEPERATED OFF FROM THE REST OF THE HOUSE SO KITTENS CAN HAVE PEACE AND QUITE IN THOSE EARLY WEEKS, AND SO MOMMA CAT CAN HAVE A SAFE HAVEN TOO!

THERE IS ANOTHER ROOM ADJACENT TO THIS ONE WHERE THE NEWBORN BELLA BABIES SPEND THEIR DAYS LEARNING TO WALK, OPEN THEIR EYES, AND GETTING NICE AND FAT! ONCE THEY ARE RUNNING ABOUT THEY CAN COME OUT IN THIS MAIN AREA AND HAVE A GRAND TIME CLIMBING EVERYTHING, AND PLAYING WITH ALL THE GREAT CAT TOYS.

Here in the Kitten Nursery, even the toys taste great!

OUR BELLA KITTENS GET QUITE CREATIVE, AND HAVE EVEN BEEN KNOWN TO PLAY GAMES OF HIDE AND SEEK WHEN THEY DON'T THINK ANYONE IS LOOKING. AMAZINGLY, I WAS ABLE TO CAPTURE THIS RARE SIGHTING ON CAMERA.

STILL A BELLA KITTEN'S FAVORITE PLACE OF ALL IS WITH HER FAVORITE "PURR"SON.

LUCKILY THAT INCLUDES ANYONE WHO LOVES THEM, AND WHO HAS A WARM LAP.
